So I just finished playing FORGE Chapter 1.  I can see that the game was truly a labor of love by those who made it.  In many ways it brings me back to the Age of the Great Guilds, and maybe to times when the world (of computer games at least) was greener and full of exciting adventures limited only by the power of one's imagination.  I'm not going to say FORGE is perfect -- but I will leave any criticism I have for another time.  The production values are high, the artwork evocative, and the gameplay fairly entertaining.  Overall, I am in awe of the fortitude and resolve of Abisso and others in completing this part of the game.  I'm sure Brian Moriarty would be proud.  Incidentally, does he know about the project?

Looking forward to the other chapters!

I really hope this project works out.  Loom is probably my favorite adventure game ever made, and I have played many.

Have you thought of using Kickstarter to raise money and awareness for the project?  Some recent successes come to mind.  For example, Tim Schafer, who designed the hit adventure game Grim Fandango, raised over 3 million dollars for a new adventure game project.  I think that Loom has almost as much of a cult following as Grim Fandango.  I would seriously consider trying to raise awareness in this manner.  Perhaps with the release of Chapter 1 you would have an impressive enough product to showcase for potential backers.

Well, let me know if you do need any help at some point.  Your Loom project is definitely the most exciting yet, and hopefully it will be the one to succeed.

My wife has some interest in voice acting as well, I don't know if you need any of that, or how professional it has to be, but let me know.

I cannot help with graphics, animation, or music, but I can help with dialogue -- if you still need help with that.

I designed a fan-game called Star Trek: the Continuing Voyage a few years back www.startrekthecontinuingvoyage.com, so you can take a look at my work and see if you think I could help with anything.

I have done a fair amount of writing, some of it is published on the web.  My wife has a degree in film and took classes in script writing while in college, so I would certainly be able to get her input as well.
