1  Everything Forge / Discussion - Chapter One / Amazing job, guys! on: March 28, 2015, 09:49:08 AM
I just finished up the demo and I have lots of nice things to say. It's amazing that you guys so completely captured the look and feel of Loom. The game play was fun and engaging. The art was nostalgic. The voice acting was particularly impressive--I thought the voice actor of Rusty was amazing. Sometimes I get sort of annoyed with voice acting in games, but the main cast was spot on.

I can tell how much work was put into this, and as a fan project, it's just overwhelmingly impressive. Great job, everyone. I can't wait to see more from this project.

First off, I'm super impressed with the game so far. The feel of the game is spot on, and I can tell you've put a ton of work into it. I'm blown away.

I'm *stuck* and I don't know if it's because of a bug or if it's because of my stupidity. I can see from on high that there are five districts: white, yellow, blue, green and red. But whenever I click on the yellow district, I'm just taken to the back street of the blue district. If I try to leave by that path, I'm taken to the thrones of the white district.

Is this a game stopping bug? Because right now I feel like I've tried most things, and poor Rusty just doesn't feel like doing them.

Edit: OK, not stuck. Still curious about the yellow district, but not stuck anymore. It wasn't intuitive immediately on how to reverse the rust that I had put on the old lady's railing, so I couldn't bend it. Past that now! On to being stuck somewhere else.
