Glad you've figured it out by yourself!

I feel like an idiot, but how to I run this game? I used the installer version for version 1.0. This time, when I extract the files, I just get a single file called "Forge_Chapter_One_1.1_No_Installer" and Windows doesn't know how to run it. If I rename it to add .exe at the end, it says my version of Windows is incompatible....

EDIT: NM. Figured it out. If anyone else ever has the problem, I had to also extract from"Forge_Chapter_One_1.1_No_Installer" to get the real folder with all the game files. It didn't have the ".tar" extension like the initial file so it threw me off.

you're not telling me, you implemented your own translation system on top of the working AGS translation system, are you? Shocked

Dude, this is good news. Sorry about the financial struggles, but I'm glad to see that project is still alive. I can't wait to replay Chapter 1!!!!

Sorry for the late reply.

This depends on selmiak's current availability. The translation process will start in a few days from now. I'll be sure to contact you if you want to split the burden.

If you're interested in proofreading, it would be another option.

Hey Jordi!

Sorry for the terribly late reply.

The procedure is easy, the only problem is the engine is picky with fonts, and requires some preparations.

What you can do if you want to help me prepare the game for the translation is taking a look at the embedded image and mark the characters you never use in your language.

Also, you should provide a list of the missing characters which you certainly need, including special punctuation, upper-case and lower-case variants, etc.

Thanks Iurius, thanks Cloudbow.

And you selmiak, will need to wait my instructions! It's not like you take a "translation file" and just translate it. There are exceptions, recommendations, tricky parts etc. Nothing is as easy as it looks with Forge! Wink

Hey, since all this project is a free labour of love, any news is good news!
Thanks for sharing your situation, and keep holding the dream.
The game as it is is really beautiful, and I personally can't wait to see how the story will unfold, even if it takes five more years... how long has it been since Loom, after all?
So take care of yourself, and enjoy the wonderful crystal fruit of your work!

Thanks, Abisso!
The game looks much better now, and take all the time you need to make a perfect 'Forge'.
