Hello! As you know, I'm Spanish and I write and speak English very fluently (I've diplomas and certificate to prove it Grin ). I'm a great fan of Loom, I've been playing it since I was 6, every version: EGA, PC-CDROM, Fm-Towns...

I’ve translated into Spanish the Loom Hint Book, which includes the “script” of the Audio Drama, which was released only in English and Japanese ( http://www.mediafire.com/?50c0mx9l6bthip3 ) and created 2 Wikipedia articles (in Spanish) about Forge or The Fold, and translated several Wikipedia articles (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forge
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fold )

I think that this translation would be very important, because of the importance of the Spanish language in the world. It would be for me a pleasure to participate in this awesome project.

Thanks a lot.

You're one of the most obvious choices when it comes to translate in Spanish, of course. I probably would have asked you even if you didn't offer in the first place. But thanks for doing that all the same!  Wink

Actually I'm translating the Tech Demo. When finished, I'll send you (abbiso and selmiak) the document.

Oh nooooooooooooooooo! Just wait a moment please! There is something you should now.

First of all, the engine I'm using allows an easy way to transfer all the text inside the game into a .txt file which alternates blank lines to text lines. This way, the translator can write the translated text under the original text easily. Then the resulting file is used to create a proper translation file.

Unfortunately I'm not at all sure that I still have a backup copy of the tech-demo project files, as we decided not to translate it and so I simply used the same project for the current demo.

So please stop before you do something pointless! I promise I will check if I still have the files and in case I do I'll send you the proper .txt to use for the translation.

Anyway the real demo is approaching, so it won't take much time before your services (and the ones of the other translators) will be needed.

Thanks for the help anyway! I greatly appreciate this.

Hello, I am also Spanish, and I want to help you.

I'm a big fan of Loom, maybe my English is not as good as MPinillos, but two heads are always better, is not it?

I am also a Webmaster, specializing in Joomla and PHP development. I am a senior technician in Management Information Systems.

Kind Regards
