Its scary! Years back when I first discovered my passion of LOOM, I apparently emailed Brian Moriarty (Before really understanding his importance) via eBay.

I can't believe that I forgot all about it. I remember asking him what about the sequels has been determined and exactly what had been storyboarded.

His Response:

Quote
Thank you for your message via eBay. It never
ceases to amaze me how many people still
remember LOOM!

Other than deciding the titles and general subjects,
very little work was ever done on the Loom sequels.
I was busy working on other projects, and none of
the other designers at Lucasfilm were particularly
interested at the time. So feel free to go crazy with
your own ideas!  Smiley

I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have
at this email address.

- Brian Moriarty

I probably forgot, because there wasn't any flesh to the story, but the Best Wishes were great. On the bright side. I've got his email address for sure! Muahaha.

Definitely! I'd love to show him a working demo. And theres a few online videos of him talking game design, he's very logical, laid back and straight forward.

I sent him an email along with the launch of the Demo a few days ago, but I am no where near presumptuous enough to request him on Facebook. lol.

Still, that IS really cool info.

Alas, no reply about the demo. So I haven't had any first hand contact with the gentleman since then.

But methinks if he did get the email, he did download the demo.

Either that, or he could stole some of the ideas, since apparently he's now involved in a Loom fan-sequel too, according to what Solarnoise told us in this post:

Just kidding of course. Brian, you know we all love you.  Grin
