Anyone else just finish it? Apparently the forums are pretty boring so I just decided to try and talk about what was on my mind. Thoughts about the ending or the series in general are welcome. Please put spoiler warnings for people who have yet to read it. Oh, and if you haven't read it you should go that right now. Like, literally, RIGHT now.

Heya!
Thank you for making the board a bit more lively. This section has been created exactly for general talk, but there's not really much going on.
Unfortunately I can't say I've ever heard about this one until you mentioned it. So I took a quick peek and it sounds interesting. The premise reminds me a bit of "Children of Men" (don't be scared, it has nothing to do with Schwarzenegger's "Junior"!) but what matters is how the plot evolves.
I think I'll give it a go. But not RIGHT now. Later.

Yeah, definitely give it a read if you see it in your local library or something. I've never actually heard about Children of Men but I've looked it up and I'm assuming you're talking about the movie? Now this looks more like an action-ish movie but although Y: The Last Man has plenty of action, it is more of a character work. Without spoiling anything, Yorick travels around some of the world with his friends(well using that word seems like a bit of a stretch). The interesting thing is that as the comic goes on, so does the world even though it seems ultimately doomed to fail. Also it's almost a survival story just as The Walking Dead is. Now just a small sidebar here I'm talking about the comic as I have not watched the show or played the games or anything and I am only 12 issues in. Anyway although the characters have an end goal, it's very distant and the journey is arguably more or at least almost as important than the destination. Certainly though, the journey takes up the majority of the series. So, yeah, definitely a good read and I hope you get into it.
