Welcome onboard Crifmer. Your help offer is appreciated, but scripting, at least for now, seems to be the least of our concerns.

But I'm sure you have hopes and ideas and suggestions to give us. And if the scripting starts to become too much for me to handle it alone, I'll count on you! Smiley

And as always, we need commited spriters. So scour the net! Recruit! Blackmail!

Whatever it takes!

Yeah! Spread the word guys! Even if someone isn't the right man to do something (let's say, graphics!), it doesn't necessarily means that he doesn't know one.

I just played the tech demo, and I'm most pleased to see that the spirit of Loom's gameplay is being carried on in a manner that's appropriate for the Blacksmiths.  One thing I noticed though was that the script had a number of grammar mistakes throughout.  I fancy myself a decent writer, so I was wondering if you were interested in an editor/proofreader.  You guys seem to have the creative side under control, but I'd love to help with the polishing.

Welcome to the boards!

Thank you for joining, and for your offer to help. Grammar ninjas are always welcome. I'm sure we'll utilize your assistance with both the dialogue, and the other components. I also got your personal email, thanks.

Hello to everyone, I'm new to this place. When you're ready for voiceovers, I'd be in as well, so I will check regularly for updates.

Welp, missed this thread for some reason. I'll quote the relevant parts of my post in the "introduction" thread:

I'd love to help you guys in some way with Forge, but I don't really know in what way. While I am a pixel artist (not a professional one, though), I've never sprited in any style similar to the one used in Loom, so I can't say for sure if I can be of help.

I will try out the Loom style, and post results here (or wherever you want them to be posted...)

Welcome to the Forum! I'm glad to see some posts from you, and I'm glad you enjoyed LOOM after just playing it. If you find the time, pllease email me if your interested in contributing. I would love to talk more on the subject, if you have a gallery that would be even better.

I hope to talk soon.

Hey guys!

I just discovered this game so couldn't check the demo yet (give me a few hours), but everything I saw so far looks great!

Even if I'd be more than happy to help with scripts... truth is I just started reading AGS documentation, so I don't have  any real skills yet.

I have some programming background, so most things look pretty simple and my idea is to create some simple games first, then we'll see.

So... where's your help offer Unai? ok, ok... I'm spanish, and would be glad to translate the game to spanish for you. There it is!

I'll keep an eye on you guys!

Ah, yes, if you want translators, I'd be glad to help you with that. My native language is Swedish, and I dare say that I am pretty good at translating.

By the way, I sent an e-mail to you, Duke, some time ago, but you never responded. Did it arrive safely? Smiley

so i want to offer my help. I'm happy to take up any job that needs to be done.

I have about 3years experience in classical animation, the old fashioned pencil and paper and it sounds like you need a lot of spriter's.

This sounds too good to be true. Why not show some samples of your work here? Or PM it to Duke Tongue

Unfortunately I'm travelling around the world at the moment, and only have a laptop and drawing supplies so don't have any of my actual animation with me. Don't know how helpful I'll be but I have plenty of time on my hands and am willing to do whatever I can. I can show you some of my still work if that's useful? I've already emailed Duke offering my help.
